Patrice and Justine form the only couple in this 18th season of L’Amour est dans le pré on M6. For the host of the show Karine Le Marchand, it’s proof that “we don’t lie and we don’t pretend to have couples”

Bad harvest this year for M6. Season 18 of L’Amour est dans le pré ended this week with a final episode followed by more than 4 million viewers. A “crazy thing” for Karine Le Marchand who nevertheless recognizes a failure behind these good audiences.

“We have never had such a catastrophic season in terms of the number of couples, we are not going to lie,” confided the host in one of her stories on her account Instagram.

Patrice and Justine, the only couple of the season

“At least we don’t sugarcoat things, we don’t lie and we don’t pretend to have couples,” she continues. On the love side, the results are indeed bad: of the fourteen candidates of this 18th season, only one couple has survived since its broadcast.

“And what a couple: Patrice and Justine, who got people talking,” underlines Karine Le Marchand.

The Norman cow breeder preferred Justine to Véronique, his other suitor. A couple much commented on in recent weeks on social networks who were entitled to their traditional end of season review with Karine Le Marchand.

“Many will have understood: Patrice asked me to intervene during the assessment, because he cannot speak, and to help him put everything back on the table.”

“Apparently, it has borne fruit,” concludes Karine Le Marchand, wishing “all the happiness in the world” to Patrice and Justine before giving viewers an appointment next year for an already confirmed 19th season.
