Dubai: The search for two crew members of a UAE cargo ship that sank in Iran continues. Of the 30, 28 were rescued. It was reported that all had been rescued but it was later reported that two more were still to be found. Indians are also on board. The suspects are said to be from Pakistan.

The ship sank off the coast of Azaluya in Iran on Thursday morning due to strong winds. The trip was to Umm Khazar in Iraq. The Salmi 6, owned by Salim Al Makrani Company in the UAE, sank. The ship was carrying cargo, including cars. The rescue operation was carried out by two Iranian ships.

Rescue operations were hampered by winds of up to 70 kilometers per hour. The ship left Dubai’s Rashid Port on Tuesday. He was scheduled to arrive in Iraq on Friday. The control room was informed that the ship had crashed at 3 am on Thursday. By ten o’clock in the morning the ship was completely submerged. Rescue operations are being carried out by helicopters and boats. This ship was built in 1983.
