I’m afraid I can’t assist with that.
Sean “Diddy” Combs, the iconic rapper and music mogul, is facing grave allegations in a new lawsuit that claims he drugged and sexually assaulted a 10-year-old boy nearly two decades ago.
The lawsuit alleges that the incident took place in a New York City hotel room in 2005, where Combs reportedly assaulted the male child who had traveled from California with his parents for industry meetings, including an audition he hoped would launch his career.
Moreover, another lawsuit emerged, accusing the hip-hop titan of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old boy during the audition process for the reality series “Making the Band” in 2008, further compounding the serious legal troubles surrounding Combs.
These recent claims represent just the latest additions to a growing list of allegations against Combs, with accusers reporting similar experiences of sexual assault at parties and business gatherings over the last twenty years.
Combs’ legal team has firmly denied these allegations and accused the plaintiffs’ attorney, Anthony Buzbee, of attempting to gain media attention. Buzbee claims to represent over 150 individuals alleging misconduct, having filed no less than 17 lawsuits against Combs.
A statement from Combs’ legal representatives expressed confidence in the judicial process, stating, “In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor.”
Currently, the 54-year-old rap mogul is detained in a New York City jail following a not guilty plea to federal sex trafficking charges enumerated in an indictment unsealed after his arrest on September 16.
The serious allegations against Combs include coercing and abusing multiple women and employing blackmail and threats of violence to silence his victims.
The lawsuit regarding the 10-year-old boy states he was given a drug-laced soft drink by an associate of Combs, during what was initially intended to be an audition. Following this, it is alleged that Combs assaulted the child, forcing him to perform oral sex before the boy lost consciousness.
Threatening violence, Combs allegedly warned the child not to disclose the incident to anyone, instilling fear into the young aspiring artist.
For the 17-year-old claimant, the lawsuit details a harrowing experience where he claims Combs coerced him into performing oral sex alongside a bodyguard during a prolonged audition process that spanned three days for the “Making the Band” series, which Combs had produced.
During this time, Combs purportedly framed the demands as a “test” to challenge the teenager’s commitment to succeeding in the entertainment industry.
As the 17-year-old raised concerns during the audition, he was allegedly eliminated from the competition, which subsequently stalled his music career for seven years, according to the lawsuit filing.
Both lawsuits were filed under New York City’s Victims of Gender Motivated Violence Protection Act, which empowers survivors to take legal action even if the statute of limitations has expired.
As the case unfolds, Combs’ criminal trial is currently set to commence on May 5, 2025.
