The hospital plans to purchase dozens of LG Electronics’ mobile screen ‘LG Standby Me’ with donations and use them for rehabilitation treatment of children and adolescents with disabilities. Other donations are managed by the Se-ri Pak Hope Foundation and used to foster talented junior golf players.

LG Electronics has been conducting a donation campaign for Standby Me, which was developed to allow fixed TVs to be moved freely in order to innovate the customer experience. In the meantime, the Standby Me product was delivered to 55 finalists who were selected following receiving requests for stories of difficulties in finding a fixed TV while studying or being treated for a disability.

Lee Ji-sun, director of the Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital, said, “It will help improve the learning environment for children, including children with muscle disorders, who are having difficulty in daily life because they are not free to do activities, and increase the concentration of rehabilitation treatment.” “We will carry out differentiated marketing to inform LG Electronics while fulfilling its corporate social responsibility,” said Jang Jin-hyeok, head of LG Electronics Korea Marketing Communication Group.
