The Corsair subsidiary specializing in the manufacture of high-end controllers is launching into the PC peripherals market.
Popular with professional players, hood announces the release of its first handcuffs specially dedicated to PC gaming. The SCUF Envision is available in two versions (classic and Pro), priced at €149.99 and €199.99 respectively.
SCUF quality, now on PC
While the manufacturer’s previous controllers have always been PC compatible to some extent, the Envision and Envision Pro are specifically designed for PC gaming. This results in the notable presence of five fully configurable “G” keys, which can be assigned to any Windows shortcut. For example triggering a screenshot, or starting a video recording.
Another key advantage, rarely seen elsewhere: the presence of two additional side buttons. Accessible with the index finger of each hand, they can obviously be configured as desired via the Corsair iCue software. Software which, moreover, allows you to adjust the RGB display of high-end controllers.
Finally, we find the essential paddles at the back. Two on each side which, once more, can be configured to substitute for another key on the controller. For example to sprint or slide without having to press the directional sticks.

Two models for more versatility
So what are the differences between the classic model and the Envision Pro? Both controllers come with a USB-C cable, but only the Pro model allows wireless gaming with the included dongle. In addition, the Envision Pro offers better grip, as well as mechanical switches for a touch closer to a mouse click.
The most high-end controller also offers a switch located under the triggers to reduce their travel for better in-game responsiveness. Details, certainly, but which can make the difference for demanding players.
Both controllers come with interchangeable side buttons. On the other hand, only the Envision Pro comes with replacement domes for the joysticks.
