“Scrsndcpy”, an app that allows you to mirror Android screens and sounds to your PC | TeraDas

I would like to introduce “scrsndcpy”, a mirroring application that allows you to view the Android screen, listen to audio, and operate the screen on your PC.

It is a very convenient application to touch Android smartphone and PC alternately for games and business, and if you apply it, you can also project the screen and sound of the smartphone with Zoom screen sharing.

Features and download of “scrsndcpy”

“Scrsndcpy” is an app that integrates the functions of the two apps “scrcpy” and “sndcpy” introduced earlier, and also allows you to set command line options from the GUI.

Since you can set the screen resizing prohibition specification and detailed settings such as bit rate, FPS, buffer, etc. from the GUI, it is very convenient for those who do not need audio mirroring.

Download from “Releases” on the right side of the linked GitHub screen.

For convenience, I will also link to the latest version “v1.3” as of July 11, 2022.

The operation check environment at the moment is Windows 10 64bit Home. However, Android 10 or later is required for audio mirroring.

Preparation and usage

As a preliminary preparation, you must first have your PC and Android ready for ADB connection.

This setting is as follows:

  1. Enable Android “Developer Options”do
  2. Turn on Android’s “Developer Options”-> “USB Debugging” function
  3. Install the ADB driver and keep it ready for ADB connection with Android

After that, connect Android and PC via USB and execute scrsndcpy.exe → press the “Screen Sound Copy” button,

With this kind of feeling, the screen and sound of Android are mirrored on the PC so that it can be operated directly.

It supports ADB connection over Wi-Fi as well as USB.

Similar to the original “scrcpy”, it automatically becomes a horizontally long window in horizontal screen game applications.

If the smartphone has enough specifications, the delay will be small. However, since there is some lag, it is not suitable for winning against opponents in games with high real-time characteristics, but it seems that there are many cases where there is no problem if it is about Pochipochige.

It seems that even a heavy 3D game can be done daily, so it seems to be convenient for the purpose of avoiding re-login in games compatible with both smartphones and PCs.

Various settings are also possible from the “Config” button.

My personal recommendation is to turn on “Prohibit screen resizing”. This is useful to prevent the window size from changing during operation.

It is also easy to adjust the “maximum size” and the image quality by specifying the “bit rate”.

The screen and audio mirroring is possible with the “Wakuoo Mirror” function of the Android emulator called “Wakuoo”, but the impression that “scrsndcpy” has less compatibility problems in the environment at hand.

If “Wakuoo” doesn’t work, you can try this “scrsndcpy” or the simpler “scrcpy” and “sndcpy” individually.

As an aside, only one of the terminals at hand, which is rooted, had a symptom of no sound, but the cause is unknown. (There was no problem with many other terminals)

[sndcpy_start.bat]
sndcpyに接続します
adb connect 192.168.XXX.XXX:5555
接続に失敗しました...

However, I am using it as the main mirroring application because there is no problem in displaying and operating the screen even on the terminal with the problem, and the setting can be easily done with the GUI.
