A 77-inch screen in your living room without having a black panel when it is off? This is the idea behind the HiSense 77R1 laser TV.
There is no such thing as the perfect audio-video installation. It is extremely difficult to find the rare pearl that combines aesthetics, video quality and sound quality. HiSense still tries to meet this need with its HiSense 77R1 during the CES 2022.
A roll-up laser TV
The Chinese manufacturer unveiled at the las vegan show a funny device mixing several features. At first glance, this is a TV stand, but it actually hides a 77 inch laser TV. The screen is retractable and therefore rolls up in the cabinet when not in use while the video is produced by a short throw projector integrated into the machine.
Regarding the technical specifics, we don’t know much more, except that the definition goes up to 4K. HiSense also promises that its TriChroma Laser offers better colorimetry and brightness. This obviously remains to be tried to realize it. Unfortunately, due to sanitary conditions, Frandroid did not send a reporter to cover the Consumer Electronics Show.
Finally, this 77R1 cabinet incorporates a sound system “professionalSigned Harman Kardon. This is DTS: X, DTS HD and Dolby Audio compatible.
A … high price
So here we have a product that promises a beautiful image, a high-flying sound and an interesting design allowing you to remove the black screen from your living room when you are not watching TV. In this sense, the HiSense 77R1 is somewhat reminiscent of the LG OLED R, the Korean roll-up TV. But as said in the beginning of this article, “the perfect installation does not exist“. The downside of the HiSense 77R1? Its price, which is not within the reach of all budgets. Count 15,000 euros all the same to offer it to you.
As for the release date, it is scheduled for 2023. See you next year so …
