A woman who ordered more than 170 pounds (regarding 270,000 won) at an Asian restaurant in the UK was caught putting something into her food.

According to the British Daily Star on the 13th (local time), woman A ordered food worth 170.45 pounds (regarding 275,000 won) at an Asian restaurant in Buckinghamshire, England on the 10th.

At the time, Mr. A visited the restaurant with her husband and a baby in a stroller. He ordered a total of 21 items, including the main menu (meal), 7 noodles, and 4 drinks, and ate a table full of food.

After finishing the meal, Mr. A called the employee just before the checkout and complained, shouting, “I found a piece of plastic in the food.” The employee suggested, “We don’t have vinyl like this in our kitchen, but we’ll give you a 20% discount.”

Then, Mr. A’s husband said, “I will not pay,” and Mr. A also refused to pay, saying it was “disgusting” and left the store.

So Nasim Khan, the owner of the store, went straight to the CCTV. This is because the restaurant was so famous that it won the title of ‘Best Asian Restaurant’ in Buckinghamshire last year.

After checking the CCTV, Nasim found out that everything was a self-made play by Mr. A. In the CCTV, Mr. A put his hand inside her clothes, took out a cigarette pack, and peeled off her vinyl.

Afterwards, he put a pack of cigarettes inside his underwear once more and fiddled with the plastic. Mr. A acted as if he did not want to be detected by the store.

First, I touched my nose with my hand holding the plastic, and then I put that hand back into my clothes. Then she spoke to her husband sitting in front of her, pretended to blow her nose once more, and moved the vinyl to the other hand.

Eventually, he put his nosed hand inside his clothes, touched the area near his chest, and secretly placed the vinyl in his other hand on top of the curry.

Mr. A, who was paying attention, was rummaging through the curry and covering it with plastic, making it look as if there was plastic in the original curry.

“I’m really upset,” Nassim, known as the ‘Queen of Curry’ for years of trying to feed the homeless, exclaimed: “If this family had been penniless, they would have given them free food.”

He continued, “But this is theft. I reported it to the police and delivered the CCTV video.” He continued, “When I shared this video with a local restaurant group, many bosses said they had similar experiences.”

“It’s a pity that children will see this parent cheating and think it’s normal,” he said.

“If you have a family who needs food, I’ll give it to you for free, so please don’t be rude like this,” Nasim said. At the same time, he said to Mr. A, “You will be caught. You are a thief, and you are teaching your children to steal.”

Meanwhile, the local police said that A’s theft allegations were reported and are being investigated, and if you know them, you should report them.
