Scottish star Lewis Capaldi announced on Tuesday the suspension of his world tour due to his health problems, which were evident during the Glastonbury Festival in England last week.

The 26-year-old singer, composer and songwriter announced last year that he had Tourette’s syndrome, a neurological disorder that causes motor and vocal tics.
Lewis suffered a lot of tics during his concert Saturday at Alstonbury in front of an audience of thousands, gradually lost his voice, and asked the spectators for help, expressing more than once his apology.
He addressed them, saying, “I just want you all to sing with me as loud as you can.”
Thousands of spectators emotionally supported him, and sang his famous song “Samoan You Loved” at the end of his concert.
“I will be taking a break from touring for the foreseeable future,” he wrote on Instagram Tuesday. “The truth is, I’m still learning to adapt to the Tourette effect,” he added.
Before Glastonbury, he had already taken a three-week break.
“It became clear on Saturday that I needed to spend more time taking care of my mental and physical health, so that I might continue to do what I love for a long time,” he added. “I will be back as soon as I can,” he added.
