60 years. It sounds like we’re a very old band. On the one hand, maybe we are, but on the other hand: we’ve always kept our minds fresh. That’s a very important point. There have been many bands that have exploded and become very successful. The problem is that success is a very dangerous thing, because there’s no shortage of ego in a band, like The Beatles. The Stones managed to stay together. It’s the same with us. We started in Germany, very slowly. It wasn’t easy for us to go to other countries at that time, but we managed. – said the guitarist in an interview for “Mariskal Rock”.

Later in his statement, Rudolf Schenker also added: We know how hard it is to go all over the world and be successful, but we did it, with our own strength, not with big resources first. Recently, guitarist Matthias Jabs admitted that playing in the band still gives them a lot of joy. – We don’t really know when we’re going to stop. In 2010 we announced our last tour, which only lasted two and a half years. And then nobody wanted to let us go, which is nice. All the promoters from all over the world said, “You can’t leave now.” And the fans also told us not to stop. It’s been 12 years since then. We’re still having a lot of fun doing what we’re doing. – he said in an interview conducted during the Graspop Metal Meeting festival.
The band is currently touring the Old Continent. This year, the musicians have once again visited our country. On July 26, they played at the National Stadium in Warsaw as part of Warsaw Rocks.
