This Wednesday, October 18th, 100 Open Startups, a platform specialized in Open Innovation, announced the Ranking 100 Open Startups 2023, which recognizes the most attractive startups for the corporate market in the country. In addition to the TOP 100, the leaders in open innovation in 30 market categories were also recognized.
The innovation and technology sector in Latin America is constantly growing, and, in this expanding scenario, Scoreplan stands out as one of the 4 most innovative startups in the region, in addition to achieving a prominent position, reaching the first place in the IndTech category.
IndTechs, startups that specialize in solutions for industry 4.0, play an important role in transforming traditional factories into technological, intelligent, efficient and interconnected environments. According to the data from the 100 Open Startups survey, the intensity of relationships developed by IndTechs with the industry increased significantly by 85%, reaching a total of 8,627 points in the 2021 ranking.
A survey carried out by Abstartups (Brazilian Association of Startups) showed that 81% of the startups interviewed contribute or have the potential to contribute to the industrial sector, with 748 of the 920 respondents indicating that a company in the industrial sector could be their client. Furthermore, 53% of these startups have collaborated or previously collaborated with companies in the sector.
Furthermore, according to research Industry District 4.0 Report 2021, this sector experienced a 427% increase in investment capture last year, reaching US$61.51 million in 2020, compared to US$11.66 million in 2019. This growth, as pointed out in the study, is attributed to the growing demand for digitalization in industries and the increase in the number of startups operating in this niche – in total, 447 startups operating in this category were identified in Brazil.
According to Scoreplan’s CEO, João Paulo Colleoni, this is the 4th year that the company has been awarded and, each year, it achieves a better position in the ranking. “It is gratifying to have our work recognized and to know that we stand out among so many startups. The award ceremony took place on a Gala Night at the Copacabana Palace, in Rio de Janeiro, in partnership with the City of Rio de Janeiro and Finep (Studies and Projects Financier). On the occasion, the corporations that most confirmed contracts with startups during the period and the ecosystem agents that most supported these startups and award-winning corporations were also recognized.
