Scoot Airlines introduces direct flights across Asia: What’s new?

To kick things off, the airline will provide three flights each week to the picturesque Phu Quoc, with plans to enhance this frequency to five times a week starting January 25, 2025. For those looking to visit Padang, Scoot Airlines will be operating four flights weekly, while Shantou will see three flights per week. Further enhancing their service, the airline is expected to fine-tune its existing flight network to ensure optimal fleet utilization and better align capacity with growing demand.
Flights to Phu Quoc, Padang, and Shantou can be booked from November 11, 2024, via Scoot Airlines’ official website and mobile app. The price for a one-way economy class ticket to Phu Quoc starts at SGD 135, while Padang offers tickets from SGD 119, and Shantou from SGD 169, making leisure travel more accessible than ever.
Scoot Airlines also plans to launch two flights weekly to the bustling city of Jakarta (Indonesia) beginning November 24, 2024, alongside seven flights to the tropical paradise of Koh Samui (Thailand) starting December 20, 2024. In a bid to enhance their customer experience, daily flights to Davao in the Philippines will be introduced, an increase from the current five weekly flights. On February 9, 2025, the airline will also boost its services to Vientiane in Laos to five flights a week, enabling even more travel flexibility.
