Preliminary indicators coordinated by the university show that in the new academic year of 2024, the minimum admission score for science students in the School of Dentistry is expected to increase from last year to a record high of 378.5 points, or 92.3%.
It is expected that this minimum score will be reduced by half a grade or degree if during the first phase of registration a student’s wishes are found to be unwilling to register at the Faculty of Dentistry as well as in other faculties such as Computer and Information Sciences, and Physiotherapy.
Last year the lowest score for science students at the Dental School was 374.5 points, or 91.3%, but this year’s total shows that the number of students obtaining marks increased from 95% to 100%, from 0.39 points. From 3% to 5.5% to 95%.
Although the total student population at competing dental schools has significantly increased, the number of admitted students has tended not to increase.
