On Wednesday, a 46-year-old motorcyclist was driving around 6 p.m. on Wegenstetterstrasse from Schupfart in the direction of Wegenstetten when he was suddenly surprised by a wild animal. Outside of town, a deer jumped onto the road and crossed the 46-year-old’s lane. There was a serious collision between the forest dweller and the motorcyclist. As a result, the motorcyclist fell and lost consciousness as a result.
The first responders and police patrol who arrived found the seriously injured man lying on the side of the road. He was no longer responsive. A rescue helicopter took him to the hospital. The Aargau cantonal police have started the investigation to further clarify the course of the accident.
