The director went through rooms and did a ‘task force’ to stifle the bullying episode suffered by Miss Vitória; The case only gained repercussions because the video was leaked on WhatsApp. Family members vent: “Victoria was attacked, the whole management knew, but we only found out through the internet. Since then, our family has never been the same”
Fabiola Oliveira Fabbri
The director of Colégio Estadual Flávio Ribeiro de Rezende tried to stifle the case of bullying suffered by Vitória, who has autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Images released on the networks show that Fabíola Oliveira Fabbri went through the classrooms to minimize the case. In the video, the director claims that it was all just ‘a joke’ and condemns only those who made the recording.
“It’s a joke that happened. This is good for you to understand what the cell phone does at the wrong time, people film and from the footage no one really understands what is happening. The other girls were encouraging her to tease her, because the two are friends”, commented Fabiola, director of the institution.
Vitória’s adoptive mother confirmed that the school’s management tried to stifle the attacks once morest her daughter. “My daughter was bullied at this school, she suffered aggression, the whole board knew regarding it and I only found out in the worst possible way, which was through WhatsApp. Our family was never the same. Management hushed up the case.”
Contrary to what the director said, bullying is not a joke, it is a serious problem and can affect the lives of children and adolescents in a profound and lasting way. When directed at an autistic person, the effects of bullying can be even more severe. For this reason, bullying autistic people is considered a crime in Brazil.
According to Law nº 13.146/2015, which establishes the Brazilian Law for the Inclusion of People with Disabilities (Statute of the Person with Disabilities), it is considered a crime to commit any act of physical or psychological violence once morest a person with a disability, including bullying autistic people. The law provides that penalties can vary from 2 to 5 years of imprisonment, depending on the seriousness of the case.
Here is the video of the DIRECTOR being caught in the act, passing by the room and saying that the cell phone was to blame and that it was just a joke, claiming that they were friends. Mom only found out because leaked on WhatsApp. AN ABSURD! #justicaporvitoria

UNDERSTAND THE CASE
The images of an autistic girl being bullied in the courtyard of Colégio Estadual Flávio Ribeiro de Rezende caused revolt on social networks this Friday (31). The episode took place in the city of Natividade, in the interior of the state of Rio de Janeiro.
The video shows the attacker ridiculing the victim, who is sitting down. The autistic girl has her hair pulled, while other teenagers laugh and film the situation. The victim, whose name is Vitória, demonstrates extreme discomfort with the bullying, reacts to attempts at aggression and cries.
Vitória lost her biological parents and is undergoing treatment at an institution in the municipality dedicated to people with autism. “When her mother and grandmother died, a neighbor of her grandmother took care of her,” reports a resident.
The case revolted the residents of the small town of 15,000 inhabitants and ended up on social networks. The hashtag #justiçaporvitoria ended up on Twitter’s Trending Topics. A profile was created on Instagram with the name @estamoscomvitoria and already has more than 100,000 followers.
