We’re thrilled to welcome you to this year’s School of Rock Summer Camp! Your decision to join us means you’re about to embark on a vibrant musical journey filled with creativity and fun. As we get closer to the start of camp, expect important updates and information to arrive via email, but for now, let’s dive into a summary of what you can look forward to this summer.
Weekly Schedule
- Camp operates from Monday to Friday, with sessions running from 9am to 3pm each day, offering ample time to hone your musical skills.
- Please ensure drop-off occurs no earlier than five minutes before camp begins, allowing a smooth start to the day.
- For pick-up, we kindly ask that parents arrive no later than five minutes after the conclusion of the camp, ensuring all our campers are safely accounted for.
- Each day promises an engaging mix of rehearsals, practice time, along with an assortment of lively games and activities centered around music.
- Culminating the week, Friday is an exciting day when campers will showcase their hard work by performing the songs they’ve been practicing throughout the week!
Friday Performance
On the exhilarating culmination of the week, campers will astound their family and friends with a live show, where they’ll perform the pieces they’ve worked tirelessly on. This much-anticipated event will take place at School of Rock Naples, located at 1485 Pine Ridge Rd, and is set to commence around 1:00pm.
What to Bring?
- All campers are required to bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated during the jam-packed days filled with music.
- Don’t forget to pack a nutritious lunch for each day, as fueling up is essential to keep those creative energies running high.
- Guitarists should bring along their own guitar or bass from home if they have one available, to ensure a personalized playing experience.
- Be sure to pack any necessary accessories, such as straps, picks, extra strings, and tuners to optimize your practice sessions.
- Vocalists should consider bringing their own microphone for optimal performance, if they own one, to give their voice the spotlight it deserves.
- Drummers must remember to pack their drumsticks, along with a backup pair, as they’ll need them throughout the week.
- Lastly, to protect your hearing during practice sessions and performances, campers are encouraged to bring their own hearing protection, which will also be available for purchase if needed.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If your plans change and you need to cancel your Summer Camp registration, please reach out to the front desk at School of Rock Naples by emailing [email protected] or calling 239-439-6660.
*If you cancel at least 15 days prior to the start of camp, a 50% refund will be issued.
**Please note that cancellations made within the 14 days leading up to the start date of camp will not qualify for any refund.
