In total, 8 schools were victims of fire in Wallonia, 6 in Charleroi and 2 in Liège. These facts triggered a strong reaction among politicians, including that of Prime Minister Alexander De Croo. Investigations are underway, the Liège and Carole prosecutors’ offices have been contacted. The police are currently tracing the tracks, and some seem to be heading towards the north of France.
