The German Chancellor, Olaf Scholzhas urged the Russian president, Vladimir Putinto put an immediate end to the fighting and open safe humanitarian corridorsin a telephone conversation held this Friday. According to German government sources, Putin reported to Scholz for the purpose of establishing a third round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine this weekend.
