With a harsh message against the national government, Governor Juan Schiaretti launched himself this afternoon as a presidential candidate for Hacemos por Nuestro País. “I am the candidate of production and work. Also the Peronist candidate who did not allow himself to be colonized by Kirchnerism, ”he assured.
In an act held at the Intercontinental Hotel in the Federal Capital, Schiaretti appeared together with his running mate Florencio Randazzo, but he was the only speaker of the call.
Beyond defending the “Cordoba model” of his provincial management, Schiaretti devoted a large part of his speech to marking differences with Kirchnerism.
“This fourth Kirchnerist government promotes the crack to cover up its failure. I reject the impeachment of the Supreme Court. The country needs institutionality and the division of powers must be respected, as we do in Córdoba”, stated Schiaretti.
As a presidential candidate, the provincial president also spoke of Córdoba. “We are the model of production and work. This model has just been once again supported by the people of Cordoba. Those who cultivate the crack, the Kirchnerism that also wanted to colonize the Peronism of our province, the people of Cordoba relegated it to sixth place, behind neighborhoodism, the libertarians and the left”, emphasized the provincial president.
In an auditorium where the candidates for national deputies from all over the country were present, including Carlos Gutiérrez from Cordoba, and Alejandro “Topo” Rodríguez and Hilda “Chiche” Duhalde from Buenos Aires, Schiaretti closed his message, with more questions about Kirchnerism.
“What we think and propose is that there be work and production. The PJ must stop being colonized by Kirchnerism, which has an authoritarian attitude. The PJ must free itself from that Kirchnerist colonization. We are the Peronism of production and work and the embrace of Perón-Balbín. The outbreak of 2001 was removed by the Duhalde-Alfonsín agreement”, concluded the governor and presidential candidate.
Stages
Schiaretti’s release will be in two episodes. The national one, with the act today in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (Caba), and this Friday, with a massive call in the city of Córdoba, in which the victory will also be celebrated at the provincial level.
The scenarios chosen for the calls set the context and expectations. In Caba, Schiaretti spoke in the event room of the Intercontinental Hotel, for about 400 people.
While in Córdoba it will be a massive act with the Peronist militancy in the Espacio Quality. Beyond the launch of Schiaretti, it will also be an excuse to celebrate the victory in the provincial elections, with the presence of Llaryora and the candidate for mayor of the capital, Daniel Passerini.
The provincial setting has always influenced Schiaretti’s national projection. The governor planned the launch of it with the triumph of Llaryora on the night of Sunday, June 25.
The complications in the provisional scrutiny, which determined that there was no governor-elect consecrated that night, also delayed the national launch of the provincial president.
In addition, in the midst of questions from the opposition due to the complications in the local electoral process, the governor could not go out for a walk on the national stage.
With the imminent officialization of the victory of the Hacemos Unidos por Córdoba coalition, Schiaretti and his campaign team decided to take to the field in the presidential campaign.
Today’s launch was also a way to flatly rule out the versions that emerged in Buenos Aires, encouraged by Larretism, that the man from Cordoba could decline his candidacy to support Horacio Rodríguez Larreta’s candidacy.
“It is an operation bereta of the porteños. That possibility was never explored. Schiaretti always remained in his position. He was willing to participate in the Steps within a large opposition alliance, outside of Together for Change, but the decision to compete was never in doubt, ”they say close to Schiaretti.
The schiarettistas consider that the version was fed by some Larretista leaders, to erode the candidacy of the Cordovan.
“With Larreta there was a negotiation to assemble the front of fronts proposed by Schiaretti. Since that could not be specified by the PRO inmate, now Larreta is a rival of the ‘Gringo’ and they will do anything to try to limit it”, added another Schiarettista source, regarding the versions that were disseminated in Buenos Aires.
In Córdoba it is where Rodríguez Larreta must stand, beaten in the Cordovan electorate of Together for Change after his negotiation with Schiaretti.
The list of pre-candidates for deputies in the province is headed by Carlos Gutiérrez, who will go for his re-election in the Lower House. He will be accompanied by the llaryorista official Alejandra Torres (Secretary of Planning and Modernization of the Capital and the third place for the leader Juan Brügge.
