A police patrol spotted a vehicle driving at high speed around 3:00 p.m. in the Navez district. The officers wanted to check the driver, but he fled in his vehicle. A chase then began before the suspect car hit another vehicle, then the facade of a school on rue Verwée. The facade was not damaged.
The individual attempted to escape on foot, but officers caught him. The man appeared to be under the influence of drugs and was driving following having his license revoked.
The man was traveling in a rental vehicle. He was taken to hospital for treatment and will then be heard at the police station.
