Over the past few days, we have spoken to you on several occasions regarding the problems caused by the reopening, since August 1, of the “without appointment” lines in all technical control centers in Flanders. Since the coronavirus, it was no longer possible to go without an appointment to certain centers.
A good plan, also for some Walloons who live near the linguistic border, but which caused scenes of chaos since many motorists who were almost out of order – because of the covid in particular – rushed to the centers near from home which were accessible once more (see link below). It must be said that it was no longer possible, in places, to make appointments (except one day a week).
To prevent such situations from recurring, the Flemish Minister for Mobility Lydia Peeters took a decision on Monday, announces the Nieuwsblad. Indeed, from August 16, it will be possible to go without an appointment to all the centers in the north of the country, every day!
