Scared Putin? An air defense system installed near his house

An air defense system has been installed 10 kilometers from the residence of Vladimir Putin in Moscow, reports the Latvian media Medusa.

A netizen was able to capture the moment of the installation of the system, on January 6, in the Odintsovo district.

Putin’s residence is located in Novo-Ogaryovo. On social media, many speculated that the Kremlin expected Ukrainian attacks on the capital.

According to preliminary information, this is the Pantsir-S1 missile system, designed to shoot down targets in the air.

The author of the video that has gone viral claims to have heard a loud noise during the installation maneuvers.

Earlier this week, Muscovites were surprised to see that an air defense system had been installed on the roof of the Russian Defense Ministry building.

Russia said it conducted air defense exercises in the Moscow region on Saturday to protect its critical infrastructure in the event of air attacks.

Since these announcements, photos of military equipment in the middle of Moscow have multiplied on social networks.
