Unfortunately, in recent weeks there have been more and more frequent brawls at stadiums, and not necessarily in the lower leagues. At the end of October, Wisła Płock fans fired pyrotechnics at fans in one of the stands during a match against Wisła Kraków. A few days earlier, hooligans vulgarly threatened the players of the A-class team Fairant Kraków, and “supporters” of ŁKS Łomża stopped the bus in which seven-year-old children were going to a Jagiellonia Białystok match.

Scandal at the Polish stadium. A football hooligan kicked a football player
On Saturday, November 9, further shameful scenes took place. These took place at the 4th League level during the match between JKS Jarosław and Karpaty Krosno. On the pitch, the hosts gave the visitors no chance and won 4-0, with the last goal scored in added time.
The “Nowiny24” portal reported that a scandal occurred just after the referee’s final whistle. One of Karpaty’s players got into a lively discussion with the hosts’ fans. One of the men sitting in the stands threw a cup of hot drink at the player. Then goalkeeper Dominik Pasterczyk was shown a red card after exchanging strong words with the referee.
But that’s not the end. During the brawl that broke out near the stands, more and more JKS fans began to appear on the pitch. “Nowiny24” informs that during the confusion, Victor Guedes, a footballer from Krosno, was kicked by one of the men.
The player made a mess, but what did the coach do? Attack of rage on the pitch in Italy!
The police entered the pitch
The police responded to the riots and secured the meeting. The officers ran onto the pitch and separated the players from the fans who had invaded the pitch. The entire event can be seen on the recording of the match broadcast available on the YouTube channel of the Carpathian Football Association.
After 16 rounds, JKS Jarosław is the runner-up in the 4th league of the Podkarpacie group. The Carpathians are in sixth place.

Football Hooligans: When Supporters Forget Their Place
Ah, football—the beautiful game! The sport that unites millions, transcending borders, languages, and, apparently, good manners! While we cheer for our favourite teams and marvel at fantastic goals, there’s an ugly underbelly making headlines these days that feels more like a scene from Caligula than any sporting event. Grab your popcorn because this isn’t your typical match report; it’s more like a sporting soap opera, and trust me, the drama is off the charts!
Chaos in the Stands
Let’s kick off with some shocking news. Brawls at stadiums are becoming more frequent, and we’re not just talking about the lower leagues where the shameful hooliganism seems to thrive. No, no! Even the more civilized matches aren’t free from this madness! Just check out the antics of Wisła Płock fans who apparently mistook pyrotechnics for popcorn—they thought they were at a rock concert and decided to fire up the atmosphere against Wisła Kraków. Because who doesn’t like a little fireworks show during a football match? Oh, right, the sanity of everyone involved!
And it doesn’t stop there. In an unbelievable display of so-called ‘fan engagement’, hooligans threatened players from Fairant Kraków, and if that wasn’t enough, ŁKS Łomża “supporters” decided to block a bus filled with seven-year-olds heading to a match. Honestly, if this is what being a fan means, I’ll stay home with my cat, thanks!
Footballers & Fisticuffs
But hold on to your hats, folks! The rip-roaring ruckus isn’t confined to the stands. Just a few weeks ago, in the thrilling encounter of JKS Jarosław versus Karpaty Krosno, players weren’t just scoring goals; they were fending off flying cups filled with hot drinks. Yes, you heard that right! Someone thought it appropriate to treat a player like his mum’s kitchen trash—how charming! One of Karpaty’s players had a lively chit-chat with the fans, which quickly escalated into a proper showdown worthy of a Rocky movie. Cup in one hand, a side of shame in the other!
After this delightful exchange, we saw Dominik Pasterczyk, the goalkeeper, being given a red card for having a heated discussion with the referee. Now, I’d love to know what he said; perhaps it was something like, “You blind bat!” Let’s just say Dominik was ‘hot’ under the collar, and that wasn’t a result of the drink-throwing fan. You could say he wasn’t the only one in hot waters; another player, Victor Guedes, got kicked for his troubles. “Just doing my job here, mate!”—someone should have told those fans this isn’t the MMA!
Enter the Police, Because Why Not?
In an unexpected twist, the police had to step onto the pitch, presumably to restore order and dignity—though you’d think they were gearing up for a prom. The officers came in like the knights in shining armor to separate the players from the fans. A grand performance for a grand mess!
As for the teams? Well, JKS Jarosław is looking impressive this season, sitting comfortably as the runner-up in the 4th league of the Podkarpacie group, while Karpaty come in at a respectable sixth place. Let’s just hope they don’t allow any more fans to play the role of “raving lunatic” anytime soon!
Wrap-Up: Is This What We’ve Come To?
So why are we seeing this rise in football-related chaos? Is sport becoming just another outlet for misguided aggression? Perhaps what these hooligans need is a good hug, or maybe just a solid dose of reality. Whatever the case, if you plan to head to a football match soon, just remember: leave the cups, fireworks, and hooliganism at home. The next time you find yourself at a stadium, instead of throwing your drink, how about showing some good old-fashioned sportsmanship? Who knows, it might just be the next big trend!
Let’s hope for better days ahead, where the only thing raging is the rivalry on the pitch, and not the madness off it. Cheers to about ten more seasons of Football: Are You Serious? and a little less madness in the stands.
In recent weeks, stadiums across Poland have witnessed a disturbing increase in violent clashes, with incidents occurring not just in the lower leagues but in more high-profile matches as well. A notable event occurred at the end of October when fans of Wisła Płock launched pyrotechnics towards rival spectators during a contentious match against Wisła Kraków. Just a few days earlier, another alarming incident unfolded when hooligans threatened players from the Fairant Kraków A-class team in an abusive manner, while “supporters” from ŁKS Łomża brazenly intercepted a bus transporting seven-year-old children to a match against Jagiellonia Białystok.
On Saturday, November 9, further shameful scenes erupted during a fourth-division clash between JKS Jarosław and Karpaty Krosno. The hosts dominated the game, clinching a decisive 4-0 victory, with the final goal coming in added time, but the real chaos ensued after the referee blew the final whistle.
In the aftermath, tensions flared when one of the Karpaty players engaged in a heated argument with JKS fans. In a shocking display of aggression, a spectator hurled a cup of hot drink at the athlete. The situation escalated further when goalkeeper Dominik Pasterczyk exchanged heated words with the referee, leading to his dismissal from the match with a red card.
As the chaos continued, more and more JKS supporters swarmed onto the pitch, amplifying the turmoil. Reports from “Nowiny24” indicate that amid the frenzy, Karpaty player Victor Guedes was violently struck by one of the men who had rushed onto the field.
In a swift response to the escalating violence, law enforcement rushed onto the field to restore order. Police officers intervened, successfully separating the players from the encroaching fans, thereby preventing the situation from spiraling further out of control. This disgraceful episode was captured on video and is available for viewing on the Carpathian Football Association’s YouTube channel.
After 16 rounds of competition, JKS Jarosław has emerged as the runner-up in the 4th league of the Podkarpacie group, while Karpaty Krosno currently holds the sixth position.
> data-section=”detail-body”>This wave of violence seems to suggest that the beautiful game is being overshadowed by a grim reality. As we witness these events unfold, one can’t help but question: what drives such misguided passion? The spirit of competition should inspire unity and camaraderie, not hostility and mayhem. Football should be a festival of skill, celebration, and respect—not a battlefield where hooligans reign supreme.
Recognizing the need for effective measures, clubs and governing bodies must step up to address this unsettling trend. Fans must be educated on the values of sportsmanship and the responsibility that comes with supporting their teams, while authorities need to enforce stricter penalties for violent behavior. it’s not just about cheering your team to victory, but about preserving the game we all love.
