Scandal in Colombia: Deportivo Cali barristas invade the field to attack DT and players

The duel between Tuluá and Deportivo Cali ended in scandal. Everything went smoothly and the locals won 2-0, but in the 82nd minute the Dean’s baristas invaded the court to attack his coaching staff and players.

Realizing the invasion, the Cali players had to quickly head towards the dressing rooms. The Tuluá soccer players and the arbitration team did the same.

The main target of the barristas was the technical director of Cali, Máyer Candelo. Former University of Chile player He was not only insulted, but also pushed and had blunt objects thrown at him.

Another of those affected was Theophilus Gutierrezwho, according to some attendees, He received blows from the barristas.

“Some were attacked, it was no big deal, others took their clothes off, we are in the dressing room surrounded by police, there is a wounded police officer, they are protecting us and waiting for the minutes to pass so we can go to Cali”a member of the club told Time.

After several minutes, the police managed to regain control at the Doce de Octubre Stadium. Later, the match was officially ended.
