SBK World Championship 2023 in Mandalika: Attention, time difference!

In 2021, the season finale of the Superbike World Championship at the Mandalika Street Circuit was the first race weekend ever to be held on the track, which was completed just a few days earlier. Last year, the Indonesian circuit was the penultimate meeting of the season, slipping into second place for the 2023 World Superbike Championship after opening at Phillip Island.

A purely Indonesian racing series will take place for the first time as part of the supporting programme. The ‹Mandalika Racing Series› was founded to promote young talent and is run in three classes with 150, 250 and 600 ccm. The middle category is included on the Superbike weekend. However, only the on-site spectators will be able to see anything of these races

Compared to the standard schedule of the Superbike World Championship, the starting times deviate only slightly. A time difference of seven hours between Europe and Indonesia has to be taken into account anyway. Early risers can start the day with the races of the world championships.
