The United States was crowned three-time Concacaf Under-20 champion this Sunday by beating the Dominican Republic 6-0 in the final of the 2022 tournament, played at the Metropolitan Olympic Stadium in San Pedro Sula, northern Honduras.

The goals were scored by Tyler Wolff (at minute 17); Paxten Aaronson (37 and 55), Noah Allen (39), Jack Mc Glynn (53) and Nikolas Tsakiris (61).

Both teams were already qualified for the Indonesia-2023 World Cup in the category and for the Paris-2024 Olympic Games by Concacaf.

Honduras and Guatemala also qualified for Indonesia-2023 through Concacaf, leaving Mexico, one of the region’s giants, out of the U-20 tournament.
