With bouquets of roses and love, the students of the Rashid Center for People of Determination in Dubai received the Egyptian artist, Sawsan Badr, during her recent visit to the center.
During the visit, the Egyptian star was received by the Director General of the Rashid Center for People of Determination, Maryam Othman, and a number of department officials and teachers of the center.
The able artist toured the departments of the center, looked at its various chapters, and followed a group of dramatic and kinetic performances presented by the children of the Rashid Center for People of Determination, which are considered part of the center’s treatment programmes.
The artist also listened to a full explanation of the center’s services and its treatment, training and rehabilitation programmes, which benefit more than 300 male and female students of different nationalities and ages. She visited vocational training workshops such as agriculture, carpentry, embroidery and vocational training, through which the center seeks to develop and refine the skills of its students.
At the end of the visit, Mariam Othman awarded the honorary center shield to the Egyptian artist, in appreciation of her visit and her efforts in support of people of determination. Sawsan Badr expressed her happiness with this participation and her presence with the children.
