Some people drink coffee as part of their life, Mother. This is also done by an artist who is also a financial planner and investment practitioner, Adrian Maulana.
Adrian admits he is a coffee lover who can finish two cups per day. Not long ago, Adrian also realized that this habit made him spend more money per month.
“Friends, I really like drinking coffee, at least two cups per day and I do that in a coffee shop,” he was quoted as saying on his Instagram account. @adrianmaulanaWednesday (19/7/2023).
“So that means my spending per day is no less than Rp. 100,000, aka Rp. 3 million a month just for coffee,” continued Adrian.
After that, Adrian thought about starting to save money through coffee. He also shared some options that can be done.
How to save from drinking coffee
The first way that Adrian did was to reduce the frequency of drinking coffee. That way, he can save around IDR 1.5 million per month.
“Firstly, I can reduce the frequency of my coffee at the coffee shop to only once per day. So, alias, I can save half of Rp. 3 million, which is Rp. 1.5 million,” added Adrian.
Meanwhile, the second option is to move to a coffee shop that has a lower price. If per glass only costs Rp. 25 to Rp. 30 thousand, Adrian will only spend around Rp. 740 to Rp. 900 thousand per month.
“Second, I can save even more if I drink coffee, which costs Rp. 25 to Rp. 30,000 per cup,” he explained.
“So that means my expenses are 30 (days) meaning at least Rp. 750 to Rp. 900 thousand. I can save more than Rp. 2 million. Approximately Rp. 2,250,000 from changing the place where I drink coffee and the frequency I drink coffee,” continued Adrian.
Not only through drinking coffee, before that Adrian also revealed how to save money just by taking the KRL.
