BRUSSELS, B – Sauermann is expanding its range of measuring instruments for professionals in the HVACR sector, with a new hot-wire thermo-anemometer designed with the same objective in mind: to be simply practical!
The Si-VH3 thermo-anemometer provides an advanced method of airflow measurement using ultra-sensitive hot-wire technology. It can be used in ventilation ducts for the flow rate and speed of the air flow, but also in infiltrometry to check the defects of thermal insulation by detecting the slightest air leak and measuring its temperature. .
The Si-VH3 takes advantage of a wireless connection to the smartphone application Si-HVACR Measurement MobileApp. Developed in-house at Sauermann, this app adds many features, such as sending measurement reports by email in PDF, XML or CSV format. It also has a magnetic attachment to take readings while keeping your hands free.
The remote probe of the Si-VH3 is telescopic. It can thus vary its total length between 18 and 82 cm (including the length of the handle). The highest ducts then become more accessible, and the graduations integrated into the probe make it possible to precisely control its insertion depth in the duct in order to obtain perfect measurements.
