Jeddah: Chinese President Xi Jinping has arrived in Saudi Arabia for an official visit. The Chinese President reached Riyadh on Wednesday evening. The Chinese President who arrived at King Khalid International Airport was met by Riyadh Governor Amir Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdul Aziz, Foreign Minister Amir Faisal bin Farhan, Public Investment Fund Governor Yasser bin Usman Al Rumayan and Saudi Ambassador to China Abdurahman Bin Ahmed Al Harbi and Chinese Ambassador to Saudi Chen Weiqing received together.

The Chinese President has arrived in Saudi Arabia for a three-day visit at the invitation of King Salman to enhance the historic ties and special partnership between Saudi Arabia and China. He will participate in various programs during the visit. The Saudi-Chinese summit will be held in the presence of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Amir Mohammed bin Salman. Various agreements worth 11,000 crore riyals will be signed during the summit. Also, cooperation agreements will be signed in various fields.

The ‘Amir Mohammed bin Salman Award’ for cultural cooperation between Saudi and China will be announced. The Chinese President will participate in two summits, China-Gulf and China-Arab, which are preparing to strengthen relations with the Gulf Arab Cooperation Council countries and China. Leaders of more than 30 countries and international organizations will be at the summit. The summit will discuss ways to improve joint relations in all sectors and opportunities for economic and development cooperation.
