Riyadh: Saudi Arabia to grant long-term and short-term education visas. The decision was taken at a weekly cabinet meeting held at Jeddah Al Salam Palace under the chairmanship of Ruler King Salman.
Long-term educational visas are granted to students, researchers and experts for the purposes of academic study and research visits. Students, researchers and visiting trainees will also be granted short-term educational visas for language study, training, participation in short-term programs and student exchange programs. Long-term and short-term education visa holders are exempted from the sponsoring regime.

RIYADH: The Taxes and Customs Authority has clarified the importance of not disclosing zakat to travelers coming to and from Saudi Arabia if they are carrying 60,000 riyals or more in cash. These should be disclosed in the affidavit.
The measure is aimed at curbing money laundering, smuggling and illegal activities. 60,000 Saudi Riyals or more, goods of equivalent value, money, jewellery, other valuables and foreign currencies should be declared. Saudi Crown Prince appointed as Saudi Prime Minister
Riyadh: The order of King Salman appointing the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, as the Prime Minister. The royal decree came out on Tuesday night. Mohammed bin Salman is currently the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister of Saudi Arabia. The order was issued appointing him as the prime minister and appointing Amir Khalid bin Salman as the defense minister.
