The Saudi Ministry of Investment and the Omani Aflaj International Company signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a factory in the Kingdom to produce liquid fertilizers that provide nutrients for agricultural crops.

The factory is expected to contribute to raising agricultural production in the Kingdom to 165 billion riyals, within the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

The ministry expected that the investments in the organic fertilizer project, in light of the abundance of arable land in the Kingdom, would accelerate agricultural production and meet the growing local and regional demand in a number of partner countries such as Oman, the Gulf states and Africa.
