Dr. Al-Rabiah said – in a press conference today, Monday, at the headquarters of the Saudi embassy in Cairo, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Cairo, Osama bin Ahmed Naqli, and a number of officials of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the embassy – that these facilities are under the generous guidance of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, within the framework of the facilities provided by the Kingdom to facilitate the coming to perform the Umrah and to pray in the honorable kindergarten for those coming from all countries of the world.
During the conference, he expressed his thanks and appreciation for the warm welcome and reception he and his accompanying delegation received in Cairo, noting the distinguished and fraternal and historical relations between the two brotherly countries, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his Crown Prince.
The Minister of Hajj and Umrah touched on the development of electronic services provided by the “Nsk” platform, to facilitate obtaining Umrah and visit visas around the clock, and to reserve all services (transportation, housing and other services) through smart devices, to facilitate access to the Two Holy Mosques, including Automate all travel procedures and reservations for services.
Dr. Al-Rabiah also spoke regarding the rapid developments witnessed by the Two Holy Mosques and the Holy Sites in the infrastructure and organization, to prepare to receive the expected increases in the number of pilgrims and visitors, and to provide the best facilities and the finest services to the guests of the House of God, and the qualitative shift witnessed by the Hajj and Umrah system in partnership with all government agencies. And service providers from the private sector in the two countries through digital transformation, and finding a package of various options and solutions to enable the largest number of Muslims to perform Umrah in the easiest way and at the lowest cost.
He indicated that he will meet today, Monday, with the Minister of Tourism, to discuss all possible facilities for Egyptian pilgrims, and this is within the framework of the meetings he is conducting within his visit to Egypt, which began on Saturday, which included meetings with Egyptian officials with the aim of discussing any obstacles facing those wishing to perform the rituals of Umrah as well as Hajj, especially with Launching the NESC electronic platform concerned with this aspect.
