Saudi Health announces new measures regarding the booster dose

The Ministry of Health announced the update of the immunization status in the “Tawakkalna” application, starting from February 1, 2022, for those who completed 8 months from the date of receiving the second dose of the Corona vaccine and did not receive the booster dose.

She revealed that if the period was less than 8 months following receiving the second dose and the booster dose was not received, the immunization status will continue and will not change. According to Okaz

An official source in the Ministry of Interior had stated that, starting from Jumada Al-Thani 29 1443 corresponding to February 1, 2022, receiving the booster dose will be considered a condition for the continued appearance of the “immune” status in the “Tawakulna” application for everyone who spent 8 months or more on receiving the second dose, and that For age groups 18 years and over.
