Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman met in Riyadh, on Sunday, with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. During the meeting, the current military escalation in Gaza and its environs was discussed.
During the meeting, the Saudi Crown Prince stressed the need to work to discuss ways to stop the military operations that claimed the lives of innocent people, stressing the Kingdom’s endeavor to intensify communication, work to calm the situation, stop the current escalation, and respect international humanitarian law, including lifting the siege on Gaza, and work to create conditions for the return of stability and the restoration of the path of peace. In order to ensure that the Palestinian people obtain their legitimate rights and achieve just and lasting peace.
The Saudi Crown Prince stressed the Kingdom’s refusal to target civilians in any way or disrupt infrastructure and vital interests that affect their daily lives, according to what was reported by the Saudi News Agency (SPA).
