Saudi Civil Aviation: Passengers should not put Zamzam packages inside their weighted baggage

The General Authority of Saudi Civil Aviation issued a new circular to all carriers operating in the Kingdom’s airports, including private aviation, regarding the commitment of passengers departing from the Kingdom’s airports not to put (Zamzam packages) inside the weighted baggage, and the circular stipulates that all carriers departing from the Kingdom’s airports must not allow passengers By placing (Zamzam packages) inside their weighted luggage, the Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadh reported.

The authority stressed that non-compliance with the circulars issued by the authority; It is a clear violation of government orders, and legal measures will be taken once morest the violator and hold him responsible for that.

It is noteworthy that the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, represented by the Zamzam Watering Department, provided 2 million liters of Zamzam water and distributed regarding one million packages of Zamzam water in the Grand Mosque on the night of sealing the Qur’an during the last month of Ramadan.

For his part, Director of the General Administration of Service Affairs, Ahmed Al-Nadawy, explained that more than 500 tons of waste and waste were removed on the night of the Holy Qur’an’s seal, including plastic waste and cartons.
