RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has intensified its demand for an immediate withdrawal of the embargo imposed on Gaza, including water, electricity and food items, amid the escalation of the Israel-Hamas conflict. Speaking on the phone with the presidents of France, Iran and Turkey, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman stressed the need to end the conflict and restore peace to the region.
In a phone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday night, the crown prince emphasized the urgent need to lift the blockade on Gaza. The Crown Prince emphasized that Saudi Arabia is making intensive efforts to move all together through regional and international communications to prevent the ongoing conflict. He reiterated that the country’s position is to reject violence that targets civilians and takes innocent lives.
