Protests are ongoing in various states of India against Pandit Sadhu Yeti Narsinghanand, a Hindu extremist and blasphemer of India.
A few days ago, a viral video went viral in which Yati Narsinghananda, Mahant of Shiv Shakti Temple in Ghaziabad, was shown making insulting statements against the Prophet. As soon as the video went viral, a series of protests started in many states of the country, after which an FI was registered against Sadhu in Hyderabad and people demanded his arrest.
Now Saudi Arabia has also come out with a strong statement against Sadhu Yeti Narsinghananda on the insolent message.
According to the report, the administration of the two holy shrines (Masjid al-Haram in Makkah and Masjid an-Nabawi in Madinah) in Saudi Arabia has also strongly condemned the provocative and anti-Islamic statements of Hindu sadhus.
In a statement posted on the Facebook platform by the Haramin Sharifin administration, it is said that the Haramin Sharifin condemns in the strongest possible terms the statement of a Hindu preacher, in which the Prophet of Islam has been insulted. We urge international organizations to stop elements that are fueling religious hatred. Along with spreading the message of religious harmony, efforts should also be made to stop spreading hatred against Islam.
60-year-old Yeti Narsinghanand Saraswati from the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh is a controversial figure. He has been accused of making offensive comments not only against Islam and the Prophet of Islam, but also against women and other minorities, with several cases filed against him in India.
In 2022, a close friend of his, Anil Yadav, said that the cases filed against Narsingha are actually a feather in his cap and he does not care about the cases.
Narsingha’s real name is Deepak Tyagi and he is said to have studied engineering in Russia after which he spent some time in the UK before returning to India. In the year 2007, he joined the mighty Dasna Mandir as a priest.
