Today, Monday, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia officially submitted its bid to host the FIFA World Cup 2034, in the French capital, Paris, at a ceremony held by the International Federation of Association Football. The file was submitted by an official delegation headed by Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, and Yasser Al-Misehal, President of the Saudi Football Federation, in addition to two children from the regional training centers of the Saudi Football Federation.

The Kingdom’s candidacy to host the 2034 World Cup is a great result of the interest and empowerment of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the unlimited support that the sports sector receives from Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
