Dammam: The ban on importing meat products from four countries to Saudi Arabia has been lifted. The temporary ban on products from Kuwait, Mongolia, Poland and France has been lifted. Imports from these places were banned due to the presence of viruses.

The ban was lifted by the Saudi Food and Drug Administration. The ban imposed by the authority months ago was lifted due to the presence of the virus. Beef, mutton, chicken and egg products from Kuwait, Poland, Mongolia and France were banned. The permission was granted in the context of the change in the presence of the virus reported in these places. SFDA forwarded the notification to the Saudi Chambers in this regard.

But the authority also announced that it has imposed a new ban on meat products from Argentina. The ban is temporary. The action was taken in the event that the presence of influenza was detected in the products from here.
