Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Activists on social media circulated a video clip from the satirical program in which Khaled Al-Faraj imitates Arab and international figures, the latest of which is the former Lebanese Minister of Information, George Kordahi.
The program, called “Studio 22”, which is broadcast on the Saudi MBC channel, had previously sparked a wide interaction among activists following it addressed issues and personalities, most notably US President Joe Biden.

Qardahi had raised diplomatic tension between Lebanon and a number of Gulf countries following his previous statements were circulated following taking up his official position, where he criticized the war in Yemen and what activists considered to be an insult to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
And Saudi Arabia announced the recall of its ambassador from Lebanon and the expulsion of the Lebanese ambassador to it on October 29, 2021, once morest the background of Qardahi’s statements, before returning him in early April, following the minister announced his resignation and made efforts to clear the atmosphere between the two countries.
