The new number plates for vehicles released by the Saudi Traffic Department include five distinctive logos depicting the country’s famous symbols. In addition to ‘Saudi Vision’, ‘Madain Salih’ and ‘Diriya’, the logo, which includes two swords and a palm, is available in color and black. The Directorate General of Traffic has announced that the number plates with the new logo will be distributed from Monday.
The fee for new number plates is 800 riyals. After paying the fee in the Traffic Account, you need to log in to the ‘Abshir’ platform of the Ministry of Home Affairs and select ‘Traffic’ from the Services tab. Then select ‘Request number plate with logo’ from ‘Contact’ and apply for new number plates. The application should indicate the number plate of the vehicle to be replaced and the required logo. In addition, a copy of the cash receipt must be attached to the ‘Abshir’ platform.
