Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Tweeters called on Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to ease the appointment of a defense team for the Saudi detainee in America, Khaled Al-Dosari.
Tweeters on Twitter launched the hashtag “You scared Khaled, Crown Prince”, amid many tweets calling on Prince Mohammed bin Salman to intervene and release Al-Dosari.
A video clip was spread that was attributed to Khaled Al-Dosari’s mother, in which she said: “I am entering into God, then you have to look into the situation of Khaled, O Salman bin Abdulaziz.
The woman, who was claimed to be Al-Dosari’s mother, added: “Look at Khaled’s condition. May God look at your condition. May God prolong your life and put it in the balance of your good deeds.”
We appeal to our rational government to look into the case of her son Khaled and to appoint a capable American defense team to support his case file.
Al-Dosari was arrested in 2011 on charges of manufacturing chemicals used to make explosives and was sentenced to life imprisonment.
It is reported that the Saudi crown prince is likely to meet with US President Joe Biden later this month, sources told CNN.
#Fazatk_for_Khaled_Oli_the_Covenant We appeal to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God protect him, and his Crown Prince, Muhammad bin Salman, to stand with the detainee Khaled Al-Dosari by appointing an American defense team and forming a committee with Saudi lawyers to follow up on it # We are all Khaled Al-Dosari https://t.co/xVs2yXqYfM
