Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN)– The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Lebanon, Walid Bukhari, announced on Thursday that his country will allow Lebanese citizens to come directly from Lebanon to the Kingdom without the need to spend 14 days outside Lebanon before entering Saudi Arabia.
Bukhari said, through his account on Twitter: “Saudi Arabia announces that Lebanese citizens are allowed to come directly from Lebanon to the Kingdom without the need to spend 14 days outside Lebanon before entering the Kingdom.”
Saudi Arabia announces that Lebanese citizens will be allowed to come directly from Lebanon to the Kingdom without the need to spend a period of (14) days outside Lebanon before entering the Kingdom.
On the other hand, the Lebanese Minister of Tourism, Walid Nassar, thanked Saudi Arabia for its decision, according to what was reported by the Lebanese News Agency.
Nassar added, in the statement: “It is not surprising that Saudi Arabia, which has always stood by Lebanon and the Lebanese, has taken decisions that are in the interest of our country.”
And the Lebanese News Agency stated that Walid Nassar appealed, through a television interview, to the leadership of the Kingdom to take a decision to allow the Lebanese to come to Lebanon without spending 14 days outside it before entering the Kingdom.
