Saudi and Gulf families sleep in the lounges of the Turkish Trabzon Airport for more than 6 hours due to poor organization and flight delays • Al Marsad Newspaper

Al-Marsad newspaper: Saudi travelers piled up in lounges and on the grounds of the Turkish city of Trabzon airport after flights were delayed for several hours, in a scene that provoked a state of anger among some.

Some travelers commented: A delay of 6 hours and bad organization, and a video clip showing the congestion in the lounges and the airport amid unjustified delays in flights.

For his part, the tourism expert, Tamim, said that the airport is very small, and it was opened in 1957 and can no longer bear the number of international or domestic planes that reach it, especially, acknowledging that the situation of travelers is very difficult and bad, and that it is psychologically and physically tired.

Traveler Ali Jaber Al-Salama said: My first day in Turkey started with bags being lost at Trabzon Airport, but the staff were very kind and provided the necessary assistance.

Passengers and stranded people demanded not to go through the aforementioned airport; It is not characterized by professionalism, speed and achievement amid the loss of many bags and luggage, calling on the Turkish authorities to investigate this crisis and determine the cause of it; It establishes a landscape that detracts from Turkey’s ability to attract tourism.
