Al-Marsad newspaper: The writer, Dr. Saud Kateb, revealed a situation that happened to him following he graduated from the university and was denied an appointment as a teaching assistant because of “wasta”.
A writer said: I graduated from the first university in the batch; I was completely confident that I would become a teaching assistant to complete my studies, and this is my life’s dream.
And a writer added, through the program “In the Picture” on the “Rotana Gulf” channel: “I took one job and went to someone else,” continuing: “I entered the dean’s office crying at the time because it was a great good for me.”
He pointed out that the most frequent sentences that he used to repeat in his tweets and articles following this incident are wasta and nepotism because it is painful, describing this as the most severe form of corruption to steal life, fatigue, effort and sleepless nights.
