The aim is to enhance stability and social security by developing housing for citizens and upgrading services. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation, Sheikh Majid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, stated that the Foundation is focused on meeting the needs of national families and providing them with a decent life through the development and implementation of various housing programs. These programs include building high standard housing complexes in different regions of Umm Al Quwain. Housing is a basic requirement for families and is often expensive, so the Foundation has a plan to construct residential complexes in installments and hand them over to families who do not have the financial ability. The complexes consist of villas with five bedrooms, a living room, a guest council, a maid’s room, and a large kitchen. They are located close to public facilities, services, and shops. The Foundation has already completed the construction of 150 homes and is preparing to launch two additional projects under the direct directive of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla. The aim is to provide decent housing to those outside the city of Umm Al Quwain. The housing was distributed to Emirati families who met the Foundation’s conditions, aimed at improving their quality of life and achieving the aspirations of the wise leadership for the citizen to be the cornerstone and firm pillar in the progress of the nation. Umm Al Quwain, on April 9, 2020, WAM, The Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works confirmed that caring for the citizen comes at the top of the priorities of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, with the aim of enhancing stability and social security for citizen families through the development of a sector Housing citizens and upgrading the services provided to them.
Sheikh Majid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation, noted in this regard that the Foundation is looking forward to the needs of national families, being the focus of development in the country and providing them with a decent life through the development and implementation of a number of housing programs represented by building distinct housing complexes with high standards and in different regions of the Emirate. Umm Al Quwain .
He mentioned that housing – as everyone knows – is a basic requirement for the family, and it is the most expensive, so the Foundation has developed a plan to construct residential complexes in installments and hand them over to families who do not have the financial ability in order to provide them with social stability, provided that they are of high quality and have all the requirements.
The Foundation started its housing projects in Al-Tasamoh neighborhood (1) (32 residences), and it was handed over in the Year of Tolerance 2019, and has now attached it to Al-Tamalah neighborhood (2) with 78 homes and 40 other homes in Oud Al-Tayer area, i.e. a total of (150) homes.
These compounds consist of villas that contain 5 master bedrooms, a living room, a guest council, a maid’s room, and a large kitchen. They are close to public facilities, services, and shops.
It is worth noting that the Foundation has begun preparations to launch two other housing projects, the first in the Oud Al Tayer area and the other in the Al Raafah area of the emirate, under the direct directives of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, to study the cases due outside the city of Umm Al Quwain and to provide them with decent housing. .. It is expected to be received from the contractors at the end of the year 2024.
The housing was distributed to the beneficiary Emirati families who met the conditions set by the Foundation with the aim of improving their quality of life, providing them with prosperity and well-being, and achieving the aspirations of the wise leadership for the citizen to be the cornerstone and firm pillar in the progress of the nation.
