Yasser Al-Mishal, president of the Saudi Football Association, confirmed his satisfaction with 99% of the names chosen by French coach Herve Renard, noting that he did not know regarding the international list until one hour before it was officially issued.
Al-Mishal told “In the Goal”: He is satisfied with 99% of the names in the Saudi national team’s list, and I only know them an hour before the list is announced.
He continued, “The Saudi team’s preparatory program for the World Cup is convincing, and we have tried to attract the best teams available. We are doing everything we can to prepare a team that will honor everyone in the World Cup.”
