On April 7, Broadway’s Plaza Suite production was canceled following lead actress Sarah Jessica Parker tested positive for the coronavirus.

A few days earlier, the husband and partner of the artist in this performance, Matthew Broderick, also became infected with CoViD-19. It was assumed that Sarah would play with his understudy, but she also picked up an insidious infection from her husband.
