Sarah Günther, the commitment to a festival that is anything but mollusc

They all commit themselves several months in advance for a summer public event. Before the “D” day, they tell us this week how they are living this intense organizational period.

If she already has a smile on her face when she talks regarding the start of the new school year next August, it’s because the end of the summer holidays also rhymes with the approach of l’Octopode Festival, the musical event in Meyrin in which she has been involved for eight years. On August 19 and 20, 13 artists, regional groups or international headliners will tread the two stages, nestled in Campagne Charnaux, in the town of Meyrin, north of Geneva. They will thus sign the culmination of the hours of meetings of Sarah Günther and of all the “Octocrew”, the volunteer team of the festival with the octopus logo with sunglasses.
